Temple and Floridians

Kristine and I got to the temple yesterday for the first time in a while. With the new chapel being finished here in Folsom, we're also going to be attending church on Temple Hill at the chapel called the Mormon Center starting next week. The whole land area used to be called Mormon Center, but it's had a new name since the temple was built.

Today, I learned that a Johnson family moved into the ward from Tampa. They had been in Mark and Heidi's ward there. Small world. The dad's name is Matt. He's the only I one I've met so far.

We also downloaded some new StepMania songs yesterday.

Still been working on the house.

Priesthood Campout 2008

We were at Sly Park again (map here) for the Priesthood (AKA Fathers and Sons) Campout this year. Mostly, we had a pretty good time. Here are a couple of videos:

David on a Small Bike

Here's the video of David we mentioned a while back. If you look carefully, you'll see that the training wheels aren't usually on the ground. I couldn't convince him to get on a larger bike (of which we have a couple), but still this was fun:
